2022: 20 coaches at institution in Jefferson County earned on average $10,743

Jefferson County’s 20 coaches earned an average salary of $10,743 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the fifth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Ohio post-secondary schools during 2022.

Jefferson County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $10,581 on average in Jefferson County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $10,876.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
